Delete your account inside Bluelly
- Sign in to Bluelly (the app or bluelly.com).
- Open Profile → Security.
- Choose "Delete account". If you have open obligations — an active booking, a pending payment, or a group you're part of — you'll see them listed; resolve them first.
- Confirm the deletion. Your account is then scheduled for permanent deletion — the exact date is shown on screen, and until that date you can restore your account simply by signing back in.
Can't sign in?
Email us from the address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account", and we'll process the request for you: info@bluelly.com
Delete some of your data without deleting your account
You can delete individual pieces of data directly inside Bluelly at any time: remove your profile photo (Profile → Personal), delete your own chat messages, un-save favourites, leave groups and meetups or withdraw join requests, and withdraw analytics/marketing cookie consent (Customise in the cookie banner).
To request deletion of any other specific data without closing your account, email us from your registered address and tell us what you'd like removed — we'll handle it under applicable data-protection law (GDPR): info@bluelly.com
What gets deleted
Once the deletion date passes, your personal data is permanently removed or anonymized: your name, date of birth and profile details, profile photo, identity-verification data, group and meetup memberships, chat identity, notification preferences, and saved favourites. Reviews and messages you posted are anonymized so they can no longer be linked to you.
What we keep, and for how long
Records we are legally required to retain — completed booking, payment, and invoicing records needed for tax and accounting compliance — are kept for the retention period required by applicable law and then deleted.
An account with unresolved obligations (an active booking, an incomplete payment, or an open group) cannot be deleted until those are resolved — the in-app flow lists exactly what's outstanding.
